In a nutshell, PEG-MGF is an IGF splice variant that was made to be more stable by the IGF and PEGylated gene. PEG-MGF also happens to be a great help at producing more stem cells within the muscle fibers, so they can fuse together and create actual muscle cells. Whenever muscle growth is top priority, this process would be an absolute must.
PEG-MGF is the shortened version for PEGylated Mechano Growth Factor. It is generally a new form of MGF that works much better than it overall. Locally made, natural MGF tends to be short-acting and stable, and doesn’t actually pass through the blood. This is because MGF reacts in the skeletal muscles in a way that doesn’t make it possible for it to pass through. This is where synthetic MGF comes in. Since synthetic MGF is water-based, it can pass through the blood when administered in the muscles. The only problem is that it won’t stay stable for very long there.
When PEG structures combine to bigger molecules, like MGF, PEGylation may occur. When this happens, the PEG structures will protect the MGF in the blood, so that it can pass through without breaking down. This makes MGF almost as effective as normal MGF after use. Several studies also show that PEGylated MGF acts for much longer and remains stable for much longer than MGF peptides overall.
For this to happen, parts of the peptide will be surrounded with polyethylene glycol. The peptide will stay safe that way, but will still be able to do whatever it needs to do. Naturally, the shell will have to maintain its negative charge during this time. |
